Registration is now open for the The Second Annual De Waldman Fundraiser Block Party being held to benefit the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation (CCF). The event will be held Saturday June 1, 2024, at the EAT restaurant, 1371 Andre Street, Baltimore, MD, 21230. This will be another great time with a silent auction, food and libations aplenty, and a DJ spinning your favorite tunes. The event will be held rain or shine!
Cholangiocarcinoma is a rare, but growing, form of cancer affecting the bile ducts and liver. Because it is rare, funding for research is very limited and all proceeds from this fundraiser will go to the Foundation to aid them in research and education. Because of everyone's generosity, we were able to raise $23,000 for the the CCF during our first event.
Thanks to all of you who were able to make it last year. It was a wonderful event and we hope to see many more of you this year since the weatherman is predicting a beautiful day :)!
Registration is only $35.00 and includes event T-shirt, wristband and a coupon for a free Pacifico beer. T-shirts and coupon pick-up will be held at EAT beginning at Noon and end at 5:00. (Please note that we will not be getting the same brand of t-shirts as last year since they definitely ran on the small side.)

We will again have many great silent auction items and have already secured items from Under Armour and the U.S. Naval Accademy Sports Association, a room for a night at the Graduate Hotel in Annapolis, Ravens tickets, signed Cal Ripkin items, a Barns Vineyard gift basket, a weekend at an Ocean City condo, baskets of cheer from local pubs and restaurants, and more. RAFFLE TICKETS will be also sold during the event for great door prizes.

ALL proceeds from registration will go to CF in honor of Denese Waldman, who lost her battle with cancer last year at the age of 55 after a very courageous 14-month fight. Each participant who registers before May 1, will receive a custom-made event tee, one free drink coupon redeemable on the day of the "Marathon.” Bid on our amazing silent auction items (see link above) that will be on display at EaT.
